Molly Keane

Born in Dublin, Molly Keane was educated the National University of Ireland (D.Litt.) and the University of Ulster (D.Litt.).

Her major novels are Young Entry (1928); Taking Chances (1930); Mad Puppetstown (1934); Devoted Ladies (1934); Conversation Piece (1937); Full House (1937); Rising Tide (1937); Two Days in Aragon (1941); Red Letter Days (with Snaffles); Loving without Tears; Good Behaviour (1981); Time after Time (1983); Molly Keane’s Nursery Cookbook (1985), and Loving and Giving (1988). Good Behaviour was shortlisted for the Booker McConnell Prize in 1981.

Her plays include Ducks and Drakes (1941); Treasure Hunt (1949); Dazzling Prospect (1961), and Spring Meeting (1983).
