Administration
The Arts Council handles all of Aosdána’s administrative and financial arrangements. Aosdána is funded by the State through the Arts Council. The Arts Council accounts for its operation in its annual report to the Oireachtas. A staff member in the Arts Council is the Registrar of Aosdána. The Registrar is the teller at elections and when the Registrar is unable to do so a deputy is appointed by the Arts Council. The regulations of Aosdána may only be changed by unanimous decision of the Arts Council.
